The IoT Toolbox provides an enhanced out-of-the-box experience by offering a user-friendly platform for testing BLE demo applications developed with NXP Connectivity chipsets. Its design facilitates a smoother onboarding process for end-users, enabling efficient evaluation of device functionalities.

As an integrated application, IoT Toolbox effectively showcases NXP’s Bluetooth® LE capabilities through support for standard BLE profiles and custom proprietary profiles, fostering interaction with various smartphones. The application’s breadth encompasses multiple Bluetooth® LE profiles, including:

Blood Pressure
Cycling Speed and Cadence
Glucose
Health Thermometer
Heart Rate
Proximity
Running Speed and Cadence

Additionally, it incorporates proprietary profiles such as:

NXP Beacon
Over-the-Air Programming (OTAP)
Thread Shell
Zigbee Shell
NFC Reader
Wireless Console via UART
